The Administration for Community Living (ACL) is a federal agency within the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The primary mission of ACL is to promote and enhance the independence and well-being of older adults and people with disabilities. It does so by providing funding, policy guidance, and support to state and local agencies, as well as various organizations and service providers that offer services and supports to these populations.
