The Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG)

The Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG) was an independent U.S. federal agency responsible for overseeing and coordinating the United States government’s international broadcasting services. The BBG was established in 1994 and operated until its functions were transferred to the United States Agency for Global Media (USAGM) in 2019.
