An English Learner (EL) is a document or set of documents that provide information about students who are identified as English Learners in an educational setting. English Learners are students whose primary language is not English, and they are in the process of acquiring proficiency in English. The report may include data on the number of English Learners, their language proficiency levels, the support services provided to them, and their academic progress.
