Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP)

The Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) is a free service provided by the U.S. Department of State that allows U.S. citizens and nationals who are traveling or living abroad to enroll their trip with the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate. STEP is designed to enhance the safety and security of U.S. citizens while they are abroad.
