The U.S. Department of the Interior is committed to increasing the employment of Veterans within the Department’s workforce. As outlined in the Department’s Operational Plan for Veterans’ Employment, we are committed to serving the Veteran community by promoting recruitment, employment, training/development, and utilization of special hiring authorities available for Veterans. The Office of Veterans Employment Programs is committed to providing resources and expertise that encourages the recruitment/hiring of Veterans into our workforce and prepares Veterans for careers within the federal government.
